About Rod
Rod Moyer entered the industry of network marketing at the young age of 24. He grew up in Kankakee, Illinois, where he was adopted at ten months old! Rod started his first company as a High School Sophomore, and build a traditional business from scratch into a successful company. Rod learned early on that he didn't want to be owned by a business. "I went off to study communications at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, and after I completed a summer internship working 16 Hour Days, I quickly realized that a 30 Year J-O-B wasn't made for me either."
His story took another turn when a fraternity brother suggested a fun weekend trip to a neighboring university. Upon arriving, The first thing out of the brother's mouth was, "Would you be interested in making some extra money?" It was the first time he had seen the industry and to Rod it was a "no-brainer."
He was mentored by some of the industry's top income earners and made the decision to partner up with a fast-growing company, in a recession-proof industry. Rod Moyer achieved producer status, and was featured in the company's quarterly newsletter! He knew that his work ethic, desire and commitment just needed to be guided by the right people with knowledge of the industry. Before deciding to take the leap of faith, he researched and saw that most fail because of lack of support and understanding of this POWERFUL industry.
The support of his family has been very important to Rod. "I have always said that hard work pays off, but this industry has been a dream come true. If you want to know how I did it, I live by two important principles. First, you must choose either money or excuses because you can't make them both at the same time. Second, scattered rays of light can fill a room, but a focused beam of light can cut through steel."
Rod is now focused on mentoring others since he was once mentored himself! Rod is also convinced that most people simply never got the proper education about making money the right way, so his goal is to educate anyone willing to listen and be taught. "It's actually easier to make money than it is to stay broke. Staying broke takes commitment. You just need to learn the rules so you know how to play the game," Rod said.
